Getting access to eVision

eVision is the main student records system for the University of Oxford. It provides services for the administrative management of admissions, on-course students, including enrolment of freshers, reviewing graduate students' academic progress (inc. assessing skills and training needs), visa management, examination entry, examination results and transcripts, and also degree ceremonies.

As a supervisor, review, monitor and comment on students' academic progress and to assess skills and training needs (previously called GSS). Used by students and staff.

The Teaching Management System (TMS) is a system for academic and administrative staff involved in undergraduate teaching in colleges and departments.

Perform an administrative task regarding the management of candidate information and decisions relating to undergraduate admissions at Oxford.

Getting access to MarkIT

Perform an administrative function related to examination and assessment processes (for a department/faculty that uses MarkIT). MarkIT is built for specific department needs and access is granted only to users who already have MarkIT set up. Contact the Student Systems Support Centre (SSSC) if you have any access issues.

As an ITSS member of staff, establish an interface SITS:Vision so that student data may be provided for use in local system(s).

As a registered user of CUD, gain access to student emergency contact details for use in local database.

Oracle Service Cloud (OSC)

Access to Oracle Service Cloud (OSC), formerly known as RightNow, is requested by senior users within the teams using OSC by contacting the Student Systems Support Centre (SSSC).

Once access has been setup, OSC can be accessed by downloading from a link supplied by SSSC. OSC can be downloaded and accessed remotely if required.

Getting access to Examiner Appointments and Payments (EAP)

Access to the EAP system IS managed through Information Custodians. Exam Board Administrators (Academic Administrators) and Senior Nominating Officers need to follow the access process, which is available from the EAP Support area.
