Following Council’s approval and no opposition from Congregation, changes to Statute XI on student discipline will take effect from 1 September. These updates will enable the University to investigate more cases of serious misconduct, including sexual violence, in line with new Office for Students' regulation (Condition E6), which comes into effect on 1 August. The changes reflect extensive consultation by the Statute XI Working Group.
