Information is now available on the student coronavirus website about accessing COVID-19 vaccines. Students are advised that their GP surgery or the NHS will write to them to invite them to be vaccinated, only when they are eligible, in line with the UK Government’s priority groups.
Advice has also been published about where students can get the vaccine – particularly if they are travelling between home and university. International students are eligible for the vaccine as part of the NHS roll-out. However, they will need an NHS number, which they will get when they register at a GP.
