Notifications
Inspera can send you notifications and reminders about your tests
For example:
- That you have a test starting in two days
- That another user has shared a question set with you
From February 2022, no notifications will be activated by default in oxford.inspera.com/admin.
Why are notifications off, by default?
Staff have indicated that they are receiving too many notifications from Inspera, and that some of these notifications are not relevant to them. Each user will have a preference as to the notifications they receive.
Individual users are encouraged to turn on the notifications most relevant to them.
I edited my notification settings before February 2022. Do I need to do so again?
No. If you have previously edited your notification settings, your choices will not have been overwritten.
How can I choose the Inspera notifications I receive?
In the top-right of your Inspera dashboard, select the 'bell' icon and then 'notification settings'.
You can then tick the notification(s) you wish to receive. You can choose to receive notifications:
by email
in the notification centre within Inspera
Are there any notifications you recommend that we turn on?
Each user will have a preference as to the notifications they receive. Below are some notifications we think are useful. In some cases, these will only act as confirmation of an action you have performed in Inspera.
