The aims of the day are to:

  • welcome you formally to the University
  • introduce you to teaching at Oxford
  • introduce the workings of the University to those of you who are new to Oxford and/or to the UK, and to provide essential, need-to-know information
  • provide you with networking opportunities and to signpost important resources and sources of support

The event includes a formal welcome to the University by the Vice-Chancellor, presentations about the University and workshops about different aspects of teaching and learning at Oxford.
