Winter Health Campaign

Coronavirus remains a serious health risk. As we head into the winter months and spend more time indoors, everyone needs to take individual responsibility for minimising risks to our community. We are asking all staff and students:

  • Wear a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces where you come into contact with people you do not normally meet
  •  Let fresh air in indoors: keeping windows and doors open increases ventilation and significantly reduces the spread of COVID-19. Please keep them open, particularly in areas which are poorly ventilated
  • Get your booster jab as soon as you’re eligible, and get a free flu jab if you can
  • Get tested and self-isolate if required.

More detailed health messaging can be found on the University’s coronavirus website, and students have been notified via today’s Student News. They have also been told that it is important that everyone is considerate and follows health guidance.
