Updated guidance on lecture capture recordings

Guidance related to recording on the Replay lecture capture service (Panopto) has now been updated. The Replay: Frequently Asked Questions page of the IT Services Help website has been updated with answers to many common questions raised by staff and students, and should be read in conjunction with the Replay Information for Departments, the speaker release and legal documents pack and the Panopto (Replay) Accessibility Statement. Further advice on Recording lectures and designing supporting online activities, including pedagogical guidance, is available from the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL).

The updates follow significant consultation with Divisions and Oxford SU, and reflect the policy changes agreed by the University's Education Steering Group in response to COVID-19, in July 2020, and the introduction of new statutory accessibility requirements in September 2020.
