Trashing: What a Waste

Trashing: What A Waste

A campaign has launched to highlight the negative impacts of post-examination celebrations, or 'trashing'. The Trashing: What A Waste campaign is now in its second year, urging students to consider the social, environmental and personal impacts of trashing. It highlights how much food, resource and money is wasted during exam periods, and reminds students that celebrations of this nature can result in a fine. Students have been reminded of this campaign via the Student News, and colleagues are encouraged to reinforce the messages through their own channels. More information can be found at ox.ac.uk/WhataWaste where a poster is available to download. For more information, contact the AAD Communications team.
