Two temporary walk-in COVID-19 vaccination centres opened - one at the University Club on Wednesday 23 June, and one at Iffley Road Sports Centre on Tuesday 29 June. They are open to all staff and students who have not yet received their first vaccination.
The centres, which are operated by the NHS, are open seven days a week from 9.30am until 8.30pm until at least Sunday 4 July. No pre-booking is necessary. Initially the centres will only be able to provide a total of 720 vaccinations per day (240 at University club, 480 at Iffley Road Sports Centre), and there may be long wait times.
Students and staff visiting the centres are asked to take a Lateral Flow Device (LFD) test before arriving to prevent any spread of the virus at the centre. More information is available on the Temporary Vaccine Centre webpage.
