All students are being asked to fill in a voluntary vaccination survey from tomorrow (Tuesday 26 October). This very short online form will ask them to confirm whether they have been vaccinated for COVID-19.
The University’s regulator the Office for Students has requested that all universities run vaccination surveys. Completing it is voluntary, for students, but high levels of vaccine uptake recorded through the survey are likely to provide reassurance to the wider community.
It will not be possible for departments or colleges to know the vaccination status of their individual students through the survey data.
Estimated vaccination rates will be provided to departments and colleges for information, but these will not be used as a basis for altering the way in which they provide services.
