Student privacy and record retention policies have now been updated for the 2022/2023 academic year.
Student privacy policy
The University is committed to protecting the privacy and security of students’ personal information. The student privacy policy has been updated and describes how we collect and use students’ personal data during and after their studies with us. This is in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and related UK data protection legislation.
Student record retention policy
The University’s student record retention policy has also been updated. This is an important part of our compliance with the requirements of the GDPR that personal data is not kept for longer than necessary. Colleagues are asked to review the revised policy.
