Overall Marks and Ranking - availability to students

A tool which allows Examination Boards to upload data so that it is available to students via Student Self-Service and colleges via eVision reports, is now available. It is common practice for Examination Boards to produce an overall mark for students’ public examination results - these are sometimes also referred to as an average mark and represent a student’s overall performance in Preliminaries (Prelims), Moderations (Mods) or Final Honour School (FHS) examinations. The Education Committee’s Taught Degrees Panel has recommended that, if Exam Boards already calculate and hold this information for Prelim, Mods or FHS examinations, they should routinely make it available to students.
