Increases to undergraduate bursaries from 2022-23

The collegiate University has approved an increase to existing Oxford Bursary and Crankstart Bursary levels from the 2022-23 academic year. This will be available for all on-course students eligible for bursary support through these schemes, to help with the rising cost of living. The revised levels of support will also be published on the Oxford Support page of the Oxford Students website from 1 September and will be included in the Michaelmas term Student News. Offer-holders will be informed of this increase in the July newsletter. Both new and returning eligible students will automatically be notified of their bursary entitlement (including this increase) for the 2022-23 academic year from mid-September onwards, once they have had their household income assessment finalised by their funding agency.

Staff should ensure that they update any local materials accordingly. Prospective students should be signposted to the external fees and funding page and current students to the internal fees and funding page. These bursary levels will also be applicable to all eligible students for the 2023-24 academic year. If you have any questions about undergraduate bursary support, please contact the Bursaries team
