The collegiate University has approved a revised undergraduate support package for new students starting from 2023-24, including new eligibility thresholds for bursaries. In recognition of increases to the cost of living each year, an annual uplift to undergraduate bursaries will also be introduced from the 2023-24 academic year onwards. In 2023-24, the current undergraduate bursary package will increase by 4% for all eligible students returning to Oxford. Current students have been advised in today’s Student News and undergraduate offer-holders in April's offer-holder newsletter. Current bursary holders will also be notified directly by email. Staff should ensure that they update any local materials accordingly to reference the revised bursary arrangements.
Students will be automatically notified of their bursary entitlement from mid-September, once their household income assessment has been finalised by their funding agency. For further queries, please contact bursaries@admin.ox.ac.uk.
