COVID-19 Assistance Fund launched

The COVID-19 Hardship Fund (CHF) has been relaunched as the COVID-19 Assistance Fund (CAF). It is now open to all first-year students as well as continuing students, where they have a shortfall in funding due to COVID-19. This follows a review of the University’s support for students whose finances have been affected by the pandemic. Colleges will continue to administer the scheme on behalf of the University. College Hardship Officers have been contacted directly about the change to the scheme and issued with updated application materials.  Full details have been published on the new COVID-19 Assistance Fund page, and students have been made aware via today’s Student News.

Postgraduate research students holding university scholarships, who wish to apply for additional time to complete their programme because of COVID-19, should review the information relating to the COVID-19 Scholarship Extensions Fund (CSEF)
