Students with a shortfall in funding due to COVID-19 can still apply to the COVID-19 Assistance Fund (CAF), which will close for the current academic year on Friday 4 June 2021. Colleges continue to administer the scheme on behalf of the University and Hardship Officers have been issued with the latest scheme guidance. Staff questions should be directed to Student Fees and Funding, and students have been reminded of the scheme via today’s Student News.
Postgraduate research students holding University scholarships, who wish to apply for additional time to complete their programme because of COVID-19, should review the information relating to the COVID-19 Scholarship Extensions Fund (CSEF). Decisions from the latest round of applications have now been communicated to students and an announcement about the next phase of the scheme will be made later this term.
