Celebrate Sustainably and CARE campaigns

The University’s annual Trinity term campaign 'Exams: celebrate sustainably' launches to students today. The campaign reinforces the negative environmental impacts of using any materials (even if ‘eco-friendly’) to throw, pour or spray in celebration of their exams, and the £150 fines that will be enforced. Colleagues are encouraged to help promote the campaign using assets available.

The CARE: Consideration and Respect for Exams campaign also launches today, with everyone asked to be considerate and respectful, giving students the best chance in their assessments this term. The campaign encourages everyone to keep noise to an absolute minimum on weekdays from 9am–6pm until Friday 21 June, especially around exam venues. Students are also being advised not to congregate when leaving exams, or to noisily greet finalists. A communications toolkit has been created for colleagues to support the campaign locally.
