Oxford railway station is expected to close on four weekends this autumn due to engineering work. This is part of Network Rail's long-term plans to redevelop the station and surrounding area. The closures could affect a number of events and the plans of students arriving in Oxford ahead of the start of Michaelmas term. All new and returning students will be informed via central University channels. However, colleges and departments are also encouraged to let potentially affected students know.
